The Coastal Bend India Association (CBIA) is a non-profit, non-political organization, registered under IRS Section 501(c), with a strong emphasis on community services. It was launched on January 27th, 1990 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
The association celebrates a variety of functions to preserve and promote traditional Indian Culture and values, and participate in City's folk festivals and multicultural activities. We also engage in volunteer activities with other civic and charitable organizations, hospitals and in various community service programs such as Operation Paintbrush.
Goals of CBIA: a hardworking and accomplished Indian community resides in the Coastal Bend area of Texas. The Coastal Bend India Association ("CBIA") aims to offer its members the advantages of a joint endeavor by pooling its resources and diverse skills and to represent itself in and contribute to the society-at-large. It is with such a desire on the part of its individual members we launched this organization.
